Abstract
This article analyzes the existing potential for meat production in Chortoq district of Namangan region, Uzbekistan, and proposes mechanisms for its efficient utilization. Despite favorable conditions for livestock farming, Chortoq faces challenges including underutilized household plots, low processing capacity, and insufficient investment flow to peripheral districts. The study synthesizes statistical data from 2022-2025 and provides evidence-based recommendations for cluster-based development, artificial insemination expansion, and integration into regional value chains. Results indicate that targeted utilization of idle household resources combined with modern breeding techniques could increase meat output by an estimated 25-30% within 3-5 years.
