Abstract
This article explores the underlying causes, trends, and mitigation strategies for poverty in Uzbekistan, with a focus on leveraging insights from foreign experts. Analyzing regional poverty indicators and employment levels over time, the study identifies key drivers of poverty and assesses the effectiveness of current policies. Notably, a knowledge gap exists in understanding region-specific poverty dynamics and their impact on national labor systems. This research aims to address this gap by evaluating poverty indicators across Uzbekistan’s regions to identify practical, impactful solutions for sustainable employment. Employing comparative analysis, the findings highlight actionable strategies to enhance workforce participation, reduce poverty rates, and inform policy development for a more resilient and inclusive economy.
