This article explores the issues of enhancing the effectiveness of teaching the topic “Fundamentals of Thermodynamics in Biological Systems” through the use of feedback technology in higher education. Based on the experience of the Physics Department of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Literature at Balikesir University (Turkey), a didactic model of the lesson was developed. The significance of different types of feedback (formative, summative, and immediate) in the learning process was thoroughly analyzed. Research results show that regular use of feedback mechanisms significantly improves students’ theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, and competencies in the subject.
