Abstract

This article analyzes the life, scholarly and spiritual heritage, and the mystical-philosophical views of Xuja Abduholiq Gijduvani. The author examines the formation of the Xojagan doctrine founded by Gijduvani, along with its role and significance in the development of the Naqshbandi order. Furthermore, the meaning and essence of principles such as the silent dhikr (xufya zikr), “The heart with the Beloved, the hands at work” (Dil ba yor, dast ba kor), “Solitude in the crowd” (Xilvat dar anjuman), and “Journeying in the homeland” (Safar dar vatan) are revealed, and their role in human spiritual perfection and societal development is explained. The article highlights the universal characteristics of Gijduvani's teachings, which harmonize the worldly and the divine, as well as their influence on Uzbek spiritual and cultural life.
