Abstract
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into education, particularly in language learning, has led to significant transformations. This research explores how AI tools can enhance the writing skills of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. While AI offers many benefits, it also raises concerns such as excessive reliance on technology, its potential to affect independent thinking, and implications for academic integrity. This study examines both the advantages and the challenges of using AI in EFL writing instruction, emphasizing the need for a balance between technological support and the cultivation of critical thinking. The goal is to provide insights into how AI can help improve writing skills and contribute to the advancement of language learning, while also suggesting future research directions that focus on pedagogical approaches.
