Factors for Improving Investment Policy and Accelerating Economic Modernization: The Experience of Uzbekistan

This article analyzes the growth of investments in Uzbekistan and their impact on economic stability and modernization. Foreign direct investment, portfolio investment, and expenditures on scientific research are assessed as key drivers of economic development. Investment activities in the industrial, energy, infrastructure and agriculture sectors, as well as the role of legal and institutional factors, are examined. The study concludes with recommendations aimed at improving investment policy and accelerating technological modernization.
